The Gruffalo Nature Discovery is the new path that leads from the Monte Carza parking to the Big Bench of the Upper Lake Maggiore through amazing landscapes. A unique experience born from the collaboration between The Gruffalo, the Municipality of Trarego Viggiona and the proloco. The path is created with the idea of spreadingthe values of the nature and the local animals to the younger generations.
The official inauguration is planned for Saturday 1st July, with an event that will also be attended by local authorities, business partners and the press.
To the Wonderwood Welcome Center, the children will be able to take a special welcome kit, with some gadgets and a map that will guide them through the 11 steps of the path, characterised by as many panels featuring the characters and settings from the story of “The Gruffalò”.
During the path, the little explorers will discover the beauty of the surrounding area through the 11 panels with some curiosities and games dedicated to them.
At the end, they will return to the starting point, enriched by an experience that will bring them closer to the wonder of nature.
Where will The Gruffalo be hiding? Go through the leafy forest overcoming the challenges of the fearsome monster and find out where it is hiding!
At the end of the trail, the little explorers will receive the tremendous mouse certificate.

The new park on Lake Maggiore
Wonderwood was born out of our children’s dreams: the park where little ones can have grown-up adventures and where grown-ups can become children again for a day.
